GEOSON Open House

The GEOSON Open House will introduce youths, secondary school students and teachers to geospatial science, technology and career opportunities through practical and interactive activities. The programme will feature career talks, GIS and GPS demonstrations, drone and remote-sensing showcases, teacher engagement sessions, mentoring, exhibitions, GIS games, map-reading challenges and spatial problem-solving competitions. With the theme “Discovering the Power of Location: Inspiring the Next Generation of Geospatial Innovators,” the event will promote geospatial awareness, strengthen teachers’ capacity and inspire young people to apply location intelligence in solving real-world problems.
