Key milestones that have shaped GEOSON Oyo State Chapter since its founding.
GEOSON Oyo State Chapter was officially inaugurated at the University of Ibadan, marking the beginning of organised geospatial professional practice in the state.
The Geo-Mentor programme was launched with first 5 secondary schools adopted, connecting geospatial professionals with the next generation of practitioners.
The inaugural Awards & Recognition ceremony celebrated outstanding contributions to geospatial science across Oyo State.
The GEOSON digital platform went live with 100+ active members, enabling online registration, mentor matching, and event management across the state.
2026 Chapter Overview
